Duolingo

I have been trying to learn Spanish (yes, at my advanced years!), using Duolingo. I'm learning small step by small step. I finished day 290 today!

It's challenging, since I am hearing impaired, so it's hard to catch some of the pronunciations. It's much easier for me to read and write Spanish than to hear and speak it.

Duolingo does make it simple and fairly easy to learn a language.

A few years ago, I was working on learning German, using Duolingo. I am learning Spanish now, though, because I have Spanish speaking friends at church, and I'd like to be able to converse with them a little better.
