About the Author

Carolyn Miller is an inspirational Regency and contemporary romance author who lives in the beautiful Southern Highlands of New South Wales, Australia, with her husband and four children. Together with her husband, she has pastored a church for ten years and worked as a public high school English and Learning and Support teacher.

A longtime lover of romance, especially that of Jane Austen and Georgette Heyer’s Regency era, Carolyn holds a BA in English Literature and loves drawing readers into fictional worlds that show the truth of God’s grace in our lives.

My Thoughts

It's been awhile since I've read one of Carolyn Miller's books, and I'm not sure why. I thoroughly enjoy each of her books I've ever read. Not Exactly Mr. Darcy is the first of a new series, and I'm already looking forward to the next one!

Any story involving teachers remains at the top of my list of favorite topics. Add in some Jane Austen vibes, and it's a winner in my book.

I really felt for Olivia, losing her job without warning. Then going halfway around the world to care for her grandmother...well, I know what it's like to care for a loved one like that.

It was heart-tugging learning more and more about Liam and his past, and how the relationship grew between him and Olivia. We're given a bit of "modern Regency" if you will, which is a sweet twist.

If you enjoy contemporary Christian fiction, with a twist of Regency, a touch of romance and a dose of faith, No Exactly Mr, Darcy is a must for your TBR list.
