Herriot, James
Sometime late in my teen years, I discovered James Herriot's books. I was totally captivated by this veterinarian from the hills of Scotland. In fact, I was so enthralled, I decided I wanted to become a veterinarian, myself! (Yeah, that didn't happen...)
I have watched the "All Creatures Great and Small" television series, but I honestly prefer the books.
Have you read his books? Or watched the series on TV?
I watched a much earlier version of All Creatures Great and Small and I think I was too young to appreciate it but now having watched the new series I want to read the books. Donna @ Girl Who Reads.
