It was a pleasure and delight to read Dusk's Darkest Shores. The Regency period is becoming another of my favorites (have I mentioned I love historical fiction?!). This is well written, with well defined and complex conflicts. You will cheer on Mary and Adam as you observe their spiritual growth throughout this story.
One of my favorite passages: "God was good. The evidence lay in jeweled tones before her. She had seen His faithfulness time and again. Just because the sun might feel hidden for a time did not mean it was not there. God's goodness did not fade away simply because she did not perceive it. Circumstances were not a faithful prism through which to see God's love. God's love, like the sun, always remained."

DeleteI have read allof Carolyn Miller’s Books except this one. I do not have a favorite regency book, but I do enjoy Sarah Ladd’s books.
