Wordless Wednesday, July 24 {with link up}

We are in the midst of birthday week, midway between my daughter's twenty-sixth birthday and my oldest son's twenty-eighth birthday.
Last Sabbath, at church potluck, we had a cake made by our pastor's wife, to celebrate the July birthdays, for my daughter's birthday, and for our friend's sixteenth birthday, and should have included my son, but he wasn't in attendance.
The morning of my daughter's birthday, I took her out for brunch. She chose IHOP.

For dinner, we all went, as family, to eat at Yamato's Japanese Steakhouse. Birthday people get a free meal, with a paid meal. It's one of our favorite places to celebrate birthdays.

My son's friend drove all the way from Mississippi to help celebrate...and to see my grandson, of course.
My daughter's birthday gift, from me. It reads: Today's good mood is sponsored by coffee. Yes, my daughter, exactly! LOL
Salad and Miso soup
I like the tofu meal. They cook the tofu perfectly!
We thoroughly enjoy watching the chef prepare the food on the hibachi grill. It is fascinating, and quite entertaining.

I love this precious little family!
They've been best friends for over a decade. Now they are sisters, as well.
Aren't they a cute couple?!
Little man got worn out, I think.
Isn't he the cutest?!
This year is my son's first birthday as a father. It's fun watching him be a daddy and lovely to observe how he interacts with his son.

It must have been a very special day for you to have the kids and the grandkids around. God bless you and your beautiful family! The little one is absolutely gorgeous! Bless him. <3
